Obrecht is proud to announce its latest collaboration with another of the community’s leading service providers - the YMCA of Central Maryland.  In November, the YMCA moved their Towson pre-school program to our latest development, the former Jemicy School site at the corner of W. Chesapeake and Bosley Avenues.  In early 2012, the YMCA’s Administrative Offices will also be relocated to the site.

The latest of Obrecht’s major renovation projects, this multi-building location required a total interior and exterior rehab of both buildings, a 4,000 sq.ft. addition to the office building and extensive site modifications.

This project required that we work closely with community groups to ensure that the developed site would preserve the standards of the surrounding neighborhoods while providing the YMCA with the updated amenities that their operation requires.  Extensive zoning and permitting requirements demanded persistent communication in order to meet the needs of the YMCA.
